Why your readers can not comment on your Blogspot blog

I believe anyway that your readers are just not familiar with commenting on Blogspot or they use outdated browsers of feature phones not powerful enough to display all features.

As a Blogger you have the choice of choosing one of two ways to identify your readers (know who is comment), not only that, it also helps you reduce spam comments from bots.

1. Google Plus Comment you could turn this on from the Blog*s' *Dashboard --> Google+ menu and ticking the Use Google+ Comments on this blog. This is might proof to be less confusing for; they'll see a notice asking them to login with their Google+ account to comment.

2. Default Options if the Use Google+ Comments on this blog option is not ticked by you, your readers will find:
  • Google Account
  • Live Journal
  • WordPress
  • TypePad
  • AIM
  • OpenID
  • NameURL
  • Anonymous

This list might be difficult to navigate on feature phones, plus if all that matters to you is just comments, you could ask your readers to avoid the stress of signing-up if it worries them, in whivh case they will have to use any of the last two; NameURL or Anonymous for commenting.

You could also recommend they use a more modern browser like  Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, there is chrome for almost all modern devices. That should help.
